The client is a senior IT sales executive who needed a personal brand overhaul across LinkedIn as well as the establishment of a business-focused Twitter account. His LinkedIn provided very little insight into his background, experience or personality. Helping prospective clients to connect was key to the updates required. Following a structured interview I obtained additional details to allow me to re-write his profile information to emphasis his depth of knowledge in the field of IT and the benefits working with him could provide to a senior executive with an IT mandate. In addition to content writing, I also undertook a professional photo shoot to obtain appropriate professional images to use in his personal brand update.
Emphasising the client’s personality, experience and knowledge through creative copywriting together with key images from the professional photo shoot created a warm, approachable personal brand that resonated with current and potential customers.
Raylene turned my LinkedIn profile from a poorly constructed version of my CV to a professional executive profile relevant to my clients and their businesses. Together with the witty twitter bio she wrote for me it’s provided me with a sustained upswing in profile views, growth of my professional network and unsolicited positive feedback as a result of her work.

The Australian Surf Rowers League Queensland (ASRLQ) is an organisation dedicated to the interests of Queensland Surfrowers. The objectives of the League are to foster and promote the sport of surfboat rowing and represent the interests of surfboat rowers in Queensland.
A volunteer organisation, they needed an efficient approach to managing the registration and communications required to run their new Sweep development training courses, that would also be easy for their members to access from their Facebook group, currently their primary communication channel for members.
Consistency and simplicity of content and messaging, along with ease of registration was achieved using a simple landing page. The information was shared with members via a Facebook post to the ASRLQ Facebook Group. Content regarding the course, pre-work, reminders and post-course follow ups, including tips and support was developed and scheduled to be drip-fed to participants at timely intervals via email addresses collected on registration to increase engagement and long-term success of the trainees.
Women Surf Rowers Australia & New Zealand is a group for women interested or involved in Surf Rowing. They provide an online space via Facebook Private Groups for female surf rowers to share their experiences and love of rowing surf; to encourage and support each other; and to share knowledge, recommendations and other useful information to help each other and develop in whichever direction they are interested in within the sport. The group wanted to add a public-facing social media channel to help promote the women-only facebook group and to share a positive image of women surf rowers, female sweeps and female officials who participate in the sport to others.
Women surf rowers are strong, determined, tough, fit, badass women. Using Instagram Business and Apps, Repost and Later suitable images are identified to share and schedule for daily posts, the WSRANZ instagram account shares positive images of female rowers, female sweeps and female officials, historical information about women in surf rowing, and content consistent with the women surf rowers brand.

Sitting down heavily, he plonks the coffee mug down next to the two cold, half-drunk mugs already beside the keyboard. “Right,” he says out loud to no one in particular and impatiently scratches that spot on the back of his head before leaning forward with his hands poised ominously over the keys.
