Personal Brand Ghostwriting – LinkedIn Profile, Twitter

The client is a senior IT sales executive who needed a personal brand overhaul across LinkedIn as well as the establishment of a business-focused Twitter account.  His LinkedIn provided very little insight into his background, experience or personality. Helping prospective clients to connect was key to the updates required. Following a structured interview I obtained additional details to allow me to re-write his profile information to emphasis his depth of knowledge in the field of IT and the benefits working with him could provide to a senior executive with an IT mandate. In addition to content writing, I also undertook a professional photo shoot to obtain appropriate professional images to use in his personal brand update.

Results

Emphasising the client’s personality, experience and knowledge through creative copywriting together with key images from the professional photo shoot created a warm, approachable personal brand that resonated with current and potential customers.

Promotional Brochure – Advertising, Copywriting

Maroochydore Rugby is the longest established rugby club on the Sunshine Coast having been formed in 1974. They compete in the Sunshine Coast Rugby Union competition in all grades from Under 6s through to Under 17s, Girls Sevens, Colts, Reserve, A Grades and Open Women’s.

To help promote the Girls Sevens competition and recruit additional players, the club wanted a flyer that the current players (Girls aged 14-17) and coaches could hand to prospective players to take home to their parents.

Results

The double-sided recruitment flyer featured copy that provided the key information and focused on the benefits of playing rugby in a way that would be persuasive for parents of girls aged 14-17. The targeted approach to recruitment together with the flyers supported the club to recruit additional players for the season.
